Ennistymon Bus Hire specialise in private golf tours. Clare is home to two internationally renowned golf courses Doongbeg and Lahinch both of which offer unique golfing experiences.
The Atlantic views, beautiful sand dunes and the speed and direction of the wind cause consistent vibration in play to allow for a range of conditions and abilities. Internationally renowned professional golfers have been constant visitors to both golf courses in recent years.
We promise you these are two golfing experiences not to be missed if you are visiting the area.
Lahinch Golf Club
The old course at Lahinch Golf Club was redesigned by Alister Mackenzie in 1927, and is a visual stunner. There isn't a mundane shot on the entire golf course, and your jaw will often drop at the Atlantic Views. Undulating fairways, heavily guarded greens and blind shots are among Lahinch's many challenges. Lahinch has always been one of the most beloved courses in the world, and with the recent enhancement it stands on level with Ballybunion and County Down as Ireland's finest.

The Lodge Doonbeg
Doonbeg Golf Club offically opened in 2002 and was designated as Golf Digest's - "Best New International Course" in 2010. In 2010 it also held the prestigious title of European Golf Resort of the Year which was awarded by the IAGTO. Two-time British Open Champion Greg Norman is the course architect, selected for his incomparable design skill and his " least disturbance" philosophy of rotating courses to fit existing terrains. The par-72 layout features a single loop of nine holes and nine back playing 6,885 yards from the back tees.
